How do you act, speak, or dress differently according to which group you are with or whom you are around? Why do you make these adjustments? Do you think it is hypocritical or false to make such changes? Why or why not? Which is the real you?
I believe I am a very well-rounded person. I am friends with people from a plethora of different social groups, so the discussions I am a part of are all very different, but because I am a well-rounded individual I can usually contribute to the conversations in some way. I am very witty, but my style of humor is appreciated best whe I am with my best friends. Of course, there's the way I have fun with my best friends from school (Kier and Josh), and then there's other ways I have fun with my best friend Brandon, who lives in Dover. When I'm with Kieran and Josh, we usually talk while we do things like playing video games or shooting hoops or riding our bikes all around York, and the conversations usually turn funny and it's a good time not necessarily because we're doing the things like biking and playing video games, but rather because our conversations sort of enhances the activities. With my friend Brandon, when we have conversations they are usually serious and it's the only thing we're doing. We do have fun though, but usually in the thing we do. Whether it's raising hell at a Chinese restaurant or playing Madden (which we are extremely religious about) or raiding the kitchen at 2 am, the fun is in the activity. I don't really prefer one thing or the other, but I'm glad it is the way it is with my friend Brandon and with Kieran and Josh, moreso Kieran and Josh because the last time we had a serious discussion without doing anything else got into a heated discussion about the benefits of tasers and guns.
